Hunt-Process "WHITE PIGMENTED"Water Base Concrete Curing Compound Description Hunt Process White Pigmented was developed in order that efficient and economical curing could be obtained simultaneously with reduction in the maximum temperatures within a concrete slab due to absorption of infra-red. Such control of the temperature is desirable during the early life of the concrete in order to reduce the expansion and contraction stresses resulting from extreme temperature changes. The film resulting from Hunt Process White Pigmented weathers away gradually by chalking and not peeling. Hunt Process Water Base Concrete Curing Compound is a non-hazardous material. Specifications: Stock-WhiteHunt Process White Pigmented Water Base Concrete Curing Compound (Stock) will meet the following specifications: U.S. Bureau of Reclamation A.S.T.M. C-309, Type II, Class "A" Hunt Process also manufactures and stocks a White Pigmented Water Base Concrete Curing Compound for each of the following Specifications: A.S.T.M. C-309, Type II, Class "B" (All Resin Base) A.A.S.H.T.O. M-148, Type II, Class "B" (All Resin Base) U.S. Army Corps of Engineers CRD C-300 Application: Rate, Time and Method Hunt Process White Pigmented should be applied at a rate of 200 square feet per gallon to a fresh concrete surface by spraying immediately following the finishing operation and disappearance of the surface water sheen. Simple pressure spray equipment, either hand or power operated, with a fan type nozzle is recommended for uniform and efficient coverage. Agitation Slight or no agitation is required. Hunt Process Water Base Cure should be protected from freezing. However, if freezing does occur during the winter months, cure should be agitated with a power mixer or compressed air after thawing.
